Lumos is published by Timothé Duc (“we”). This policy describes what data the Lumos iOS app and this website process, why, and what your rights are. The short version: your photos are edited on your device and are never uploaded, and we collect the minimum needed to run your account.

1. Photos

All photo processing (looks, adjustments, exports) happens locally on your iPhone, on the device’s GPU. Your photos, drafts and exports never leave your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

2. Style analysis

When you deliberately share a public profile with Lumos to create a matching look, our servers fetch that profile’s publicly available photos and measure aggregate color statistics (tone curve, color profile). We keep the resulting measurements only — not the photos, which are processed transiently and then discarded. You can delete a style analysis at any time from the app, which removes the stored measurements from our servers.

3. Account

When you create an account, we store:

We do not collect your name, contacts, or location.

4. Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat as a processor to know whether your account has an active subscription. We never see or store your payment details. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

5. Analytics

We use PostHog (hosted in the European Union) to understand how the app is used — screens viewed, features used, errors. These events are tied to a pseudonymous identifier, not to your photos or their contents.

6. Emails

We send transactional emails only (for example, password reset). No marketing emails without your explicit consent.

7. Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists. Deleting your account removes your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it longer (for example, billing records).

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export, delete, or object to the processing of your data. Write to contact@lumosfilters.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL).

9. Processors

We never sell your personal data.

10. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, and note the date at the top. Material changes are announced in the app.
